Todd and Julie Chrisley are home from federal prison after getting pardons from President Trump, and their family and legal team talked about their release in a press conference ... where Todd fired a shot at CNN.
Todd and Savannah Chrisley, as well as attorneys Alex Little and Zack Lawson, held a press conference Friday in Nashville where they reacted to the full and unconditional pardons granted by Trump.

Savannah stepped up to the mic first ... calling Todd and Julie's pardons a "dream" and expressing gratitude for everyone in the Trump administration and beyond for getting her parents out of jail. She also railed against the "politicization" of the Department of Justice.
Then, Todd spoke out ... thanking everyone for their efforts -- especially Savannah, saying his heart breaks at all she had to go through in order to free him and Julie.
However, Todd maintains he was "convicted of something he did not do" -- adding he has no shame, and he plans to "expose the injustices" faced by federal inmates all over the country, especially Black inmates.
While it was a joyous moment for Todd, the press conference featured a contentious exchange or two ... like when Todd joked one reporter -- who asked him if he had any remorse -- must be from CNN, a move straight out of the Donald Trump playbook.
Chrisley also lifted the lid on his prison routine ... claiming he worked out for more than an hour, read and called Savannah each and every day.
As we reported ... Todd and Julie were sprung from prison Thursday after the papers were officially signed Wednesday, erasing their prior convictions for bank fraud and tax evasion charges.
Todd was convicted in 2022 and sentenced to 12 years in prison, and Julie was serving a 7-year sentence -- but, they both only served a little over two years before the pardons.
Trump announced the pardons Tuesday during a phone call with Todd and Julie's daughter, Savannah, and the following day the pardons were official.

The reality TV family is featuring the prison release on their upcoming Lifetime show -- which Savannah says was basically in the can when they found out about the pardon. They've since picked up filming again to incorporate more of Todd and Julie.

Todd and Julie wasted no time getting back into a normal routine ... 'cause both have been spotted in the last day or so after their release. Todd's spending time with Savannah, and Julie has been spotted walking around Nashville, thrilled to be free.
TC also talked about going out shopping Thursday ... and the media frenzy that followed him and Savannah while he was just trying to buy underwear.

Todd and Julie owe $17.8 million in restitution, but some of the top legal minds on our staff came together to discuss the pardons and federal law, and it appears the couple may not be on the hook for any of it.
